Tyrone Eugene Williams, Jr. (Poppa) was born on July 20, 1973, in Houston, Texas to Linda Faye Williams and Tyrone Eugene Williams, Sr. He was born and raised in the Piney Point community.
Tyrone was blessed to have three sisters: Lynzinna Green, Sandra Green, and Diana Williams.
Tyrone was preceded in death by his maternal Great-Grandparents: Albertha Whiting and Taylor Whiting, his Paternal Grandmother: Jeanetta Williams, and his Aunts: Judy Williams and Alberta Garner.
On Sunday November 3, 2024, Tyrone Eugene Williams Jr., heard his Heavenly father call his name and happily received his wings and flew home.
He leaves behind his Mother: Linda Faye Green, his Father: Tyrone Eugene Williams, Sr.; His Stepfathers: Willie Green and Gordon Brazle. His Sisters: Lynzinna Green, Sandra Green, and Diana Williams; His Aunts: Debra Henderson, Curly Wygal, Mary Sparkman, Mamie Williams, Mary Williams, Brenda Walker; His Uncles: Roy McMiller, Jessie Williams, Wayne Williams, and George Green; His Great-Aunt: Alice Marie Whiting; His Cousins: Pamela White, Lisa Celestine, and Tina McMiller, Rev. Scott Williams, Jermaine Williams, and Cimaron Wiliams; His Nieces: Lauren Marya Hill, Bailey Savannah Miller, Skyy Wilson, Wynter Woods, Rhazzi Hunter. His nephews Elijah Montena, Jacob Montena, Isaiah Montena, Shon Brazle Il; his Great Nephew: Noah Montena; His Stepsiblings: Bridgette Braze, Kim Brazle, Mark Brazie, Shon Brazle, and Fallon Brazle; His Partner of 14 years: Brandon; His Best Friend: Josh Miller and close friends: Adrien Bradford, JeRoy Petitt, Jaemi Boone, along with a host of friends and way more cousins and family members.

I consider Tyrone family. We fought like brother & sister. Lord knows we laughed until we peed our pants and tears ran down our face. We loved one another unconditionally. He is and always will be unforgettable. So I dedicate the song,Unforgettable by Nat & Natalie Cole. Please listen to it one time with Tyrone specifically in mind and you´ll completely understand our relationship with one another. I will miss him terribly. I will love him always. Sista girl u made life good again always and always had and still have a way to bring laughter to a gloomy room tell miss rice hello for me and know that we are at a huge loss right now I wish the good ones that make this place manageable were able to stay longer because we need that warm good positive welcoming everything's going to be ok vibe to rub off on a lot more...

when i think of tyrone i think of christmas. when i see him its around christmas time, when we catch up and he makes me laugh til i feel like im growing abs. He gives tight caring hugs like hes not letting go. Theres a lot of things that remind me of tyrone. Theres not enough words or enough time to describe how hilarious and amazing he is.

In 2005 l moved back to Texas and found myself homeless. I didn't know what I would do and had no family or friends to stay with. Tyrone not only welcomed me into his home, he cooked for me, gave me clothes, and even though he was very social and had lots of friends, he would clear out his home so that I could get some sleep and go to work. He supported me through my toughest of days, and I in turn supported him through his toughest. He was the best human I had known since my mother. He was family. I'll miss you forever "Sista"

I met Tyrone in Boston at my nephew Josh's house where we stayed for 4 or 5 days. After that we spent so many Christmas's together and my birthdays, dancing and having so much fun. He loved my children and they loved him. We spent time talking about my life and his and he always told me I need to write a book, even when I hadn't seen him or talked to him in awhile when I did, he would ask me if I wrote it yet. If I ever do it would be dedicated to him for all of his encouragement. I love him and he will be missed a lot.
