Violet Summers Obituary

VIOLET BERNICE SUMMERS. Our beloved Wife, Mother and MaMa was called home to the Lord this Wednesday, May 30, 2007. Her sweet spirit and kind heart blessed us all each day. She first loved her Lord, then her precious husband Harold, her children, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She was a rock to her family and stood firm on her faith. Even though she is gone from us this day, her loving strength and sweet gentle spirit will help us as we face the days ahead. Bernice was preceded in death by her son Harold Vance , Jr. She is survived by her loving husband Harold Summers, daughter and son-in-law Ashley and John Foster, son David Summers, granddaughters and husbands Summer and Jason Cave, and Heather and Rich Herrington, granddaughter Ginger Beekly, and great-grandsons Dylan and Evan Cave. Bernice's family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:45 at Champions Forest Baptist Church 15555 Stuebner Airline Rd. , Houston ,TX 77069 with services to follow at 2:00 pm. Private burial will follow.

We were so sad to hear of the passing of your Mom. MOMS are so special and yours was the sweetest and most lovely person we have met. She will surely be missed by all. We know words can't help you now- your memories will give you comfort as time passes. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all of the family.
