William Knight Obituary

William David Knight, 70, passed away April 23rd in Katy, Texas. Born and raised in Sturgis, Kentucky, David moved with his family to Houston in 1980. He graduated from Murray State University and was an executive in the insurance industry for over 30 years. He was in the Army Reserves for 6 years. He was an avid golfer and traveler, had a keen interest in politics, and loved animals. David was preceded in death by his wife, Anne. He is survived by his four children, Shannan Haire, Shawn Knight, Timothy Knight and Patrick Knight; three siblings, Joyce Smith, Frances Wells, and Phillip Knight; and two grandchildren, Brittany and Austin Haire. The burial will be a private ceremony for the family on April 26th. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) Coalition at www.shy-drager.org.
