Bill and I attended UST together, briefly lived together, and remained close friends until his death. I miss him so much I've taken to calling my neighbor Bill, even though his name AJ. I also send my regards to Caroline (I miss him daily also) and his wonderful children. I remember vividly swimming in the rain while on the southern coast of England. Across the years, I laughed more and had more adventures with him that most--and probably more than I deserve. Ciao chow for now.

Bill "Wild Man" Stender, as known in our college days. We live in different zip codes and talk every now and then, and I knew he was my friend, as we pick up from our last conversation as we live down the hallway at Jackson House. I know he truly love his family and you could tell he was glowing talking about his wife and daughters. I will miss our conversations and feel sad that when I was in Houston, our schedules never coincide.
Love you Bill.
