Ronald Koscielak Obituary
Valders - Ronald C. Koscielak, retired crew leader & foreman for Northern Illinois Gas for over 35 years and resident of Valders, Wisconsin passed away in his home at age 80 surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, November 15, 2020.
Ron was born on August 8, 1940 in Evanston, IL, son of the late Chester and Helene (Kowalski). He was a graduate of Evanston High School with the class of 1958. On August 3, 1986 he married the former Margaret Prassel in Park Ridge, IL
Ron enhanced the lives of everyone he came in contact with by sharing his joy and zest for life. He was a kind, gentle soul and just a lovable teddy bear. Ron loved spending as much time outdoors as possible. He enjoyed boating, fishing, motorcycling, and antiquing. More than anything, Ron loved spending time with his family.
Ron was survived by his wife of 34 years: Margaret, Valders; two daughters: Mary Lynn Koscielak (partner Michael Mueller), IL, Barbara Jean Koscielak, IL; three step-children: Julie Fray (partner Joel Kraimen), IL Jodie Fray (Mickey Cerrito), James (Holly) Fray, IL; four grandchildren: Jerica, Rhonda, Mason and Madison; one sister: Karyl Zimmerman, MI; two brothers-in-law: Roy Prassel, Nick Ney; two nieces: Lori and Chris; and special family friends: David Wegner and Jaime Aguirre. He was also preceded in death by one son: Thomas Koscielak; and three brothers-in-law: Bill (Jackie) Prassel, Donald Prassel and John "Jack" Prassel.
Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2020 at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Beaudry.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, January 6, 2020 at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
