Regina McCain Anderson
Regina McCain Anderson, 47, of Jefferson, GA, passed away at her home on Sunday, July 21, 2013.
Gina grew up in Huntsville. She graduated from Huntsville High School and Calhoun College. She attended The University of Alabama Huntsville. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jesse and Louise McCain and Ernest and Louise Anderson, all of Jefferson. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Mary Hill of Jefferson; her parents, Reggie and Mary George Anderson of Huntsville; brother Brent Anderson and wife Laurie of Johns Creek, GA; nieces Sydney and Wynn Anderson and nephew Miller Anderson.
The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA, on Wednesday, July 24, 2013. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2013 with Pastor Arlene Smith and Reverend Mike Peavy officiating. The burial will follow the service at Ebenezer UMC Cemetery, Jefferson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.

My deepest sympathy to Gina's daughter, brother, and parents. I went to Randolph and HHS with Gina. She was always a sweet person. Through these last years, she has been an inspiration to others. The wonderful attitude she shared while going through so much pain has been amazing. She always gave others positive encouragment. Her light will still shine through others.

I am so sorry for the loss of GIna. She had been thru so much and thru it all kept a sunny and positive attitude. I have fond memories of her from high school and over the past few years she has been a treasured prayer warrior for me! Her daughter and parents are in my thoughts and prayers. Fly high Gina!!!
