Lisa was such an important part of my life for the 16 years we worked together; she was a force of nature for sure! Lisa's leadership, vision and commitment to Emerald Communities was unwavering - she didn't let anything deter her from carrying out the mission of the organization and expanding its service to seniors. More than just my boss, she was also someone I counted as a friend. So many memories of our time together through the years and so very sad that she didn't get to enjoy the long, travel-filled retirement she envisioned. Best wishes to Barry and all of Lisa's family left behind - I know you all have uncountable memories that will help you find peace as you think about the joy Lisa brought to you.

I remember Lisa as a client and friend, a leader of integrity and strength, someone who would do anything for a friend, who loved hiking and her family, and loved senior living. She fought a hard fight against this terrible cancer. I will miss her.
