William Johnson "Bill" Fraser

1948 - 2025

Boise - William (Bill) Fraser passed away peacefully on February 4, 2025. Born and raised in Boise, he was a proud fourth-generation Idahoan whose warmth, kindness, and humility touched the lives of many.

Bill's early years were marked by a passion for sports, which he pursued at Fountain Valley High School in Colorado Springs. He formed friendships there that lasted a lifetime. His academic journey took him to Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, where he continued to cultivate his love for adventure and the outdoors. A skilled skier, Bill cherished his time in Sun Valley, where he found both joy and camaraderie on the slopes.

After completing his education, Bill returned to Boise, where he built a successful career as a contractor. His work left a lasting mark on the community he loved. Upon retirement, he embraced his passion for wine, founding Fraser Vineyard. With dedication and craftsmanship, he produced many award-winning wines, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and artistry.

Bill was more than his accomplishments-he was a gentleman, a loyal friend, and a man of quiet generosity. His kindness and humility endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his loving partner, Terry Stoltz; his sister, Anne Brown (Steve); his nephews, Chris Brown (Shaina Kennedy) and Mike Brown; and his grand-nephew, Liam Brown.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
