Kendall S. Larsen
June 26, 1925 - June 22, 2014
Kendall Spencer Larsen, 88, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2014 at his home with family by his side.
Kendall received his education in the Preston area, graduating from Preston High School.
Kendall married Donna Tanner on December 4, 1946 at the Logan Temple. Together they had 6 children.
He was a farmer, a rancher, initially in Arbon Valley, and later in Ovid, Idaho.
Kendall served 2 years in the US Army before being honorably discharged. He then served stateside in training US troops.
He loved to play his guitar and his mouth organ (harmonica). In his younger years he loved to rodeo. He rode bulls and saddle bronc.
Kendall is survived by his 6 children; Laura (Gary) Johnson, Idaho Falls, ID, Lucille (John) Rense, Alaska, Spencer (Linda) Larsen, Rexburg, ID, Janette (Terry) Christensen, Pocatello, ID, Stacy (Janet) Larsen, Ovid, ID, Jeffery (Michelle) Larsen, Boise, ID, 16 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Donna, his parents, 1 sister, and 5 brothers.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Ovid Cemetery, Ovid, Idaho.
Arrangements are under the care of Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, ID. 208-233-1500.
