My wife and I started flying into Johnson Creek in the late 70. Some where along the line we met Dave Imel. I considered him a really nice person and a great asset to Yellow Pine. We came back to Johnson Creek and Yellow Pine for many years and enjoyed the little community and the people to the fullest. Very sad to see Dave gone. Now it is up to Sarg to take over.

Uncle Dave will be missed by all those whom he loved. May our memories of him sustain us as we mourn his passing and brighten our days in the future as we reflect on the times that were shared. My heart goes out to my Aunt and my cousins.

I sure have lost a good friend. It was Dave who got me started down the road on a atv years ago. He was one of the fore runners of the harmonica producers and picked a fine choice for Lynn as a partner in his life. It is a blessing and my good fortune to know these good people.

Lynnea and family....Haven't seen you for a while, but so remember the good chats while I was at the credit union. It always gave me a good feeling when you and Dave walked into my office, knowing we would have lots to say. My thoughts are with you. Joanne Corless

Lynnea and family,
Dave was a great man and such a big part of what made Yellow Pine special. He always seemed to have a smile on his face. I know Dad (Robert Auth) thought so much of him as well. We will miss him and all of his contributions to Yellow Pine.

Mr. Imel was my 5th grade teacher and he was very special to me. My parents had just divorced and we had just moved to Boise. He was very kind to me and helped me to meet new kids with his ESP tricks. I will never forget his kindness! So sorry for your loss
