Gayla and family....Rarely, am I at a loss for words, as you know. Right now I am just devastated and silent with the news of Kenny's passing. You know how I adored him and thought of you both as part of my Gooding family. I shall cherish our memories....I told Berniece that he had gone to be with the angels and his loved ones above....she was very sad and our tears were shared in remembering. She is not doing so great.....Kenny was always one of her favorites. God be with you all during this time of loss...My thoughts and prayers are with you always.....
My Love, Sharron

Ron and I always felt special when visiting with Ken. We will always remember the teasing and joking we enjoyed with him while we were working at the Country Club in Gooding. When we would fly to Reno each year for Hot August Nites we would either be on the same flight leaving or returning as Ken so we had a chance to catch up with life. He would always ask how things were with us and was very sincere. He truly made you feel special, he was an excellent listener. We will miss him, and our prayers and thoughts are with you Gayla, may God bless you and give you the comfort you require.

I remember Ken when he worked at MK. He was a very nice man and always had a smile on his face to greet people.

Kenny and I were childhood friends, classmates, and sports teammates for 8 years prior to our graduation from Gooding High School. He always made a concerted effort to protect the feelings and foster the happiness of all whom he came in contact with. Kenny’s demeanor and presence, during these years, has left a indelible impression on me, even after 48 years. My condolences to Gayla and all of Kenny’s family and friends.

I never met Ken--except through the delightful stories wife Gayla would share! I know he made a significant impression on his friends and fellows, and the young scientists and thinkers that he mentored, here and in Reno.

Although I knew Ken just a very short time, he was very much of a gentleman who I found to be a great Reno neighbor. I am very sorry for his departure and feel the loss and sadness for his family.

Ken had such a great sense of humor. I remember, while working with Ken at M-K, he said to me one day, "I was five minutes late this morning so I guess I have to make it up - by leaving 5 minutes early."

When Ken was considering employment at MK all who interview him gave a positive response and Bill Dyer captured it all when he said "Ken is the kind of person people would like to do business with" I later concluded that anyone would feel good in his company.

When Ken was considering employment at MK, all those who interviewd him could agree with Bill Dyer's assessment that "Ken was a person people would like to do business with". We all later would extend that to any encounter in life.
