Laney Korn Obituary

Laney Dawn Korn Laney Dawn Korn, 2, of Nampa died Monday, Feb. 4, 2008 in Caldwell. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, in Ferdinand Hall, Nampa First Church of the Nazarene, 601 16th Avenue South, Nampa. Inurnment will follow in the Wilder Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, at the Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 North Midland Blvd. Nampa. Laney was born Nov. 22, 2005 in Boise, Idaho to Leon Jeffrey Korn and Kristie Dawn Wade. She was a beautiful little girl who was fun loving and always happy. Laney enjoyed playing "ring around the rosy" with her twin brother, Kasey, and was called little angel by those closest to her. At a young age she found great pleasure in sharing her "treats" with grandpa. If there was only one word to describe her it would be "sweetheart". Laney's time with us was far too short. She will be dearly missed by her family. Laney was preceded in death by her great- grandmother, Elsie Iona Huckabee. She is survived by her mother Kristie, twin brother, Kasey, two brothers, Tien and Kobe Dea, grandmother, "Nana" Terry Wade and grandfather Ivan Wayne Farris, grandparents, Sandy and Mark Harding, and great-grandparents Helen and Gene Wade and great- grandmother Jewell Black. Also surviving are aunts Trudee Wade, and Sandra Harrell and uncles Ken Wade and Jack LeRoy Farris. Her cousins are Erik Housman, Michael Fuzi; Bobby, Dale and Jack Farris Jr. and Kendra and Ruston Wade.

Although we never met little Laney, she sure had your big smile Kristie. She was a lucky little girl to be part of such a loving family and to have so many brothers looking out for her. You are a terrific mom and you have shown so much love to all your children. Know that Laney knew how much she was loved and that is the best gift we can give our children. We are thinking of you Kristie.
