Marianne Ami
1931-2013
Marianne Ami, 82 of Boise, Idaho passed away Thursday July 18th. Marianne was born July 14th, 1931 in Burns, Oregon to Charley and Gladys Beckley and was raised in Crane, Oregon on the family ranch.
Marianne attended Mercy Nursing School in Nampa, Idaho receiving her Registered Nurse degree in 1954. She had a 35 year career at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise, Idaho as a Surgical Nurse. Marianne married Gene Ami July 27th, 1964 and was married for 29 years until his passing in 1993.
Survivors include her sister Patsy (Harvey) Cronin of Drewsey, Oregon, her companion Ray Morris of Boise, Idaho and numerous nephews and nieces.
Marianne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gene Ami and her sister Doris Rassmusson.
A special thank you to the staff of The Cottage's on Roe St. in Boise Idaho for their loving care and kindness to Marianne. The family suggest memorials be made to The Idaho Humane Society.
Graveside services will be held at Morris Hill Cemetery, Wednesday July 24th at 11:00. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bowmanfuneral.com
