Stationed in Vilseck, Germany, PFC Mason Daniel Price passed away on May 21, 2017.
Mason was born in Salt Lake City on April 13, 1997 to his loving parents Stephen K Price, and Melanie Walker. He was raised in Boise, Idaho. At a young age Mason was fascinated with the military, and made it known to all that someday he would enlist and make a career.
While attending Boise High, Mason pursued his dream by joining and excelling in JROTC. Immediately after graduation, Mason was accepted into the United States Army, and completed Boot Camp at Fort Benning, Georgia. In show of support, Mason's Turning Blue Ceremony was attended by his loving mother Melanie Walker, and relatives Bonnie Walker, Charlene Barlow, and Alison Bicandi.
Mason was offered many jobs within the Army, but chose Infantry as his path to follow. To quote an Army Buddy, "Mason was an honest infantryman. Never giving up and always helping someone else before he helped himself".
Mason was loved by many for his strength and humor, but mostly respected for knowing and following his dream.
A visitation will be Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 9am-11am at Summer Funeral Home, 1205 W. Bannock Street, Boise with funeral services following at 11:30am. Burial with Army Honors will be at 1pm at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery. There will be a reception at the family home following the graveside services.
