Michele Dawn Towell Michele Dawn Towell, 41, of Meridian, was born May 2, 1967 in Weiser to Norval and Alice Towell. Michele, herself stated "through prayer and the love of family and friends" was she able to courageously fight an 18 month battle with cancer. This battle ended Dec. 8, 2008 when she crossed over to her eternal life in heaven where several loved ones including maternal and paternal grandparents, a brother-in-law, an aunt, and her beloved Kosta and Kooter were waiting to welcome her. Michele graduated from Weiser High School in 1985 and attended Lewis and Clark College in Lewiston and Boise State University. Michele was recently employed by Willow Tree Dental in Meridian where she was treated more like family than an employee. Michele is survived by her parents, Norval and Alice Towell, Weiser; brother Tim Towell (Mary) of Sherwood, Ore.; sister Robin Maillet (Guy Ybarra) of Roy, Wash.; niece Desirae Towell of San Diego, Calif.; nephew Brandon Towell of Corvallis, Ore., her beloved dogs Katie and Kami, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The Towell family would like to thank Michele's dear friends Vance Morris, Michelle (Shelli) Parke and Ron and Hazel Blessinger of Meridian who all exemplified what a true friendship is. Services will be held at Thomason Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008 at 10 a.m. A memorial luncheon will follow immediately at the First Baptist Church in Weiser. All are welcome to join in honoring Michele's life. Memorial donations may be made in Michele's name to the First Baptist Church of Weiser, the Cancer Care Center in Boise, or the Humane Society.
