Boise, Idaho - Nona June Aznar, 94, passed away on December 5, 2020. Nona was born on June 13, 1926, to Allan and Hildur Rundquist (Weber) in Staten Island, NY. She grew up in Westport, CT, where, in 1963, she opened a health food store named Chez Nona. Later, Nona worked for many years for the actress Eva Le Gallienne in Weston, CT.
Nona moved to Boise in 1994. She enjoyed painting, sewing, arts and crafts, and most importantly, being a grandmother.
Nona is survived by her children, Jay Szinyei of Houston and Alicia Magnusson (Aznar) of Boise, as well as her four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Nona, you are loved and greatly missed.
