Boise, Idaho - The Reverend Dr. Robert Charles Hill, joined Our Lord Friday, July 5, 2024.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel, 5400 West Fairview Ave., Boise, 83706.

Rev. Hill served as Boise's senior pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church. For 12 years, he mentored its growing congregation to use their skills to serve the church, community and missions abroad. As the Trinity Presbyterian congregation grew, Rev. Hill led Saturday night and three Sunday services. His scripture based, intelligent sermons fed the congregation with guides for living their lives walking with Jesus Christ. Through his Bible studies and calling on members and nonmembers, he ministered to the needs of others. After expanding the physical church and the spiritual life of the congregation, Rev. Hill was called to serve troubled churches in Pennsylvania. After which, he and his wife, Judithann returned to Boise to retire. They made their last home at The Terraces. Rev. Hill received loving care by the Terraces Skilled Nursing and St. Luke's Hospice team as he succumbed to a lung disease.

He leaves behind his loving wife and thoughtful grandson, Ashton. Robert was preceded in death by an only son, Aaron Whitacre McSween Hill.
