Russell Berger Obituary
1924 - 2015
Our much loved husband, father, and grandfather, Russ Berger, passed away peacefully from cancer on April 5, 2015. Born August 26, 1924 in Jamesville, Wisconsin to George and Nora Berger, he attended the local schools and was very active in baseball and basketball. On November 22, 1952 he married Jeanette Krabbe and then worked for General Motors for over 30 years. After retirement, his passion became golf, finally getting a hole in one at the age of 70 years. In 2000, they moved to Boise to be near his family. Always a smile on his face, he made friends wherever he went.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Georgene Johnson, and is survived by his wife, sons, Russ Jr. (Dian) and Jeff (Brenda), 4 grandchildren, and sister, Anita Schultz.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at King of Glory Lutheran Church located at 3430 N. Maple Grove Boise, Idaho. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bowmanfuneral.com.

Very sorry for the loss of Russ. He was our neighbor of 15 years and walked both my boys to the bus stop many times with Sammy. Cannot say enough good things about this great guy. Again our condolences. Curtis,Christie,Dawson and Cole Griep.
