Steve was the best boss I could have ever wanted. He was so kind and generous and such fun to hang with. He was my dearest friend for 41 years - I am so grateful!

I NEVER RAN WITH STEVE MUCH, BUT HE WAS A THORN IN THE SIDE OF OUR BORAH LIONS BASKETBALL TEAM BEATING US AT STATE IN 1964. HE CERTAINLY WAS ONE OF THE GOOD GUYS...A TRUE PROFESSIONAL AND HAPPY SPIRIT. AS A SIGMA CHI AT IDAHO WE MET EACH OTHER AT SEVERAL INTRAMURAL EVENTS AS MY FIJI BROTHERS WILL ATTEST. STEVE..."WELL DONE GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT" !!

old school lawyer whose word was his bond; did not need a memo with him; great smile and soft voice but carried lots of weight.

It's with a great amount of sadness that I've learned of Steve's passing. He was a great friend, fraternity brother and all around wonderful human. Steve was my "big brother" at the Sigma Chi house at U of I. He will be missed and remembered for all the great times. I send my sympathy to Nora and Jennifer, so sorry for your loss.

Steve spent countless hours playing basketball in junior high and in high school and developed into one of the finest basketball players from Twin Falls Senior High. Steve has always been a hero to me and I will miss him very much. A wonderful friend and a great athlete.

The picture of crew cut Steve shooting baskets alone on the Washington School playground for hours is indelible in my mind. He sought excellence in everything he did.
