Not sure what to say?

January 18, 2013

It is amazing that a year ago myself, your family and friends were about to lose a great person. The emotions I went through this next month a year ago were just like yesterday. I hope you knew I was there every morning before work and every night after, and even then some. I have a empty place in my heart that will always be there. I'm sure you are at peace, but what I would give for just one more HUG from you. Miss you terribly---First Mate :)

Miss you Kys....

May 30, 2012

Well Honey I made it through the 1st official cookout of the summer. Jimmy took over the grill duties and I think he was a little nervous.
I had a nice talk with Vince Fye today. I talked about you and the 1st cookout thing and he said I took a big load off his shoulders cuz he didn't know what to say to me when he'd see me and felt uncomfortable about talking about you and things we've all done together. He really misses you a lot and now he feels he can talk to ME about all the fun things you guys did and know that it's OK.
I want to hear your voice sooo bad sometimes I can't take it!!
Your Mom and I had a really nice dinner at Morrie's on Friday. She finally used the g.c. I (we) got her for her birthday. The guys there were very cordial and came over and chatted with her. I think she needed that.
I miss you sooooo much and it still hurts a lot. Love you, Denise

P.S. The Pork Chop Scramble was awesome, great turn out and Tony and his original team won. That was so special to both of us. Tony Miller flew home from Florida just to play. We toasted to your rememberance----but of course you know that. Hope we put a BIG smile on your face.

May 10, 2012

Hi Honey, Well this Sat. is the Pork Chop Scramble and I'm really gonna miss you being there; esp. when you try to tell me how to COOK the chops! LOL I would love to hear that again! Your buddies haven't left us down either, we have 17 teams and Patty at Tammy is really helping make this a special day. We have a new banner, a plaque for future outtings. We will ALL miss your laugh and sillyness. Love you still, LL

I fell in love with your LAUGH 18 yrs. ago this month and thought we'd grow old together boating at Lake Erie and enjoying life. Your big heart, smile and personality was one of a kind! I'm grateful for getting to know a great family and tons of good friends through you. I'm really going to need them now and for a long time coming.
It was so hard to see you suffer and that I couldn't make your pain go away . I have always been there to take care of you. But I know in my heart that you knew I was there every minute that I possibly could be until your pain was gone. I will forever miss your hugs and silly nicknames--which you gave just about everyone you knew:)
You can rest now Babe and someday I'll see you again. But not for a while though cuz we got a lot of partying left---just like YOU told me to keep doing. I will NEVER stop thinking about you and will miss you ALWAYS. Love You! Your First Mate :)

Although I was not that close to Steve in high school I surely knew him. Many friends of mine considered Steven a very good friend and I am glad to see that those relationships continued long past high school. I pray that those closest to him find comfort and cherish the time they spent with him. God Bless

I first met Steve at Poland's in 6th grade. I laughed until I cried then and many, many more times afterward. I guess we will no longer have to remind you what's trump or ask you to repeat what you just said. You were a great friend and I can't look back on my high school and college years without thinking of you and smiling. God Bless.

When I think of Steve I have so many memories that come to mind. He has been in my mom's life since I was about 14 yrs old. Then when Angello came along he found a little buddy. He gave him the nick name of "root" when he was just a toddler. That name has stuck with him until this day. I don't think Steve ever called Angello by his name. It was always the "root!" And now we all call him that. Living at home with mom and Steve for 9 yrs, I get used to his "goofy" sense of humor. But I can only remember one time where I ever saw Steve a little angry. He was always in a good mood. I could go on about all the little, and sometimes annoying (haha) memories but bottom line is that it is still hard to accept that he is no longer here. I know how very much he cared for and loved my mom. Many thoughts and prayers to my mom and Donna and the rest of the Kyser family and friends.

We sure had a lot of good times in the neighborhood. It allways seemed like a tight knit bunch of kids. Steve was allways the one to see that everyone had a good time. I still live in the neighborhhood, and often think of those good times. My prayers go out to the whole family.
