Floyd Galloway Obituary
PELZER, S.C.
Floyd Galloway, 89, of 429 Johnson Road in Pelzer, S.C., passed away on March 11, 2015 at his home. He is survived by his wife, Constance E. Brown Galloway; daughters, Gail Galloway, Faye Culpepper and Wendy Merritt; son, Albert Galloway; sisters, Clara Galloway Cornelius and Janie Galloway Rice; brothers, Josephus, John, and Robert Galloway; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ethel E. Galloway; son, Craig Wigfall; and two brothers, James and Clarence Galloway. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2015 at Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Anderson, S.C. The interment will follow at M.J. "Dolly" Veterans Cemetery. Mr. Galloway was a happy, jovial and kind spirit. He loved to sing praises to his God. He & Mrs. Constance became dear to my heart over the years. They reminded me alot of my parents. Recently when I saw Mr. Galloway in his wheelchair, I asked - is that a Mercedes or a Cadillac? He replied - it's a BMW - Better than Me Walking :-) He laughed and all that were around joined in. Praying strength, endurance & heart healing for Sister Constance and family members. It was a joy meeting many of you last night.

Connie and family: May God guard your heart and restore peace within your soul during the days, weeks and holidays ahead. During our conversations, I can't remember a time that I failed to ask you "how's Floyd doing," he had a great personality. Be Encouraged. God Is Able! Trust Him!

I do not know your family. I just wanted to say that as I viewed the obits, your loved ones picture made my heart skip a beat! This is the most precious picture! Mr. Galloway's face has touched me and inspired me to allow the love that I share with our God to shine brightly to all that simply looks at me. May God bless your family.

I can still hear him singing praises to the Lord from his heart. He shall truly be missed by ALL of us who knew him. What a wonderful legacy he leaves behind. My thoughts are with you all during your season of sorrow.
