Matthew Merriweather Obituary
ANDERSON, SC - Matthew Terrell "Makaveli", Merriweather, 36, died March 20, 2009.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Margie Banks, R.L. Chamblee and Yancy Hill, and uncle, Leroy Merriweather, and a niece, Niccola Smith.
He leaves cherished memories to one son, Antonio T. Merriweather; parents, Frances Linda Fant (General Arnett) and Matthew aand Stephanie Merriweather; sisters, Notasha (Lashan) Smith, Shanta (Tiyanyo) Paul, Regina Merriweather (Kevin Wardlaw), Roshanda (Phillip) Fuller; Chelsea Byrd and Sirenia Edward; brothers, Chavala Dean, Delaceun Dean, Lorenzo Edward and Dayjaun Dean; Grandmothers, Mary Goodson, and Mary Merriweather Hill; Honorary Sister, Liza Hall, Honorary Brothers, Billy Merriweather, Hernandez Kay, Don Burns and Mandrell Hatten; Grandchildren, Zy'Marion Merriweather and Zanijeanna Geer. He is also survived by his companion of many years, Janie D. Geer and her children, Rodriques, Titus, Kemia, Sharonda and Boobie Geer.
Funeral services are 2pm Wednesday in the Marvin R. Mattison Memorial Chapel, D.B. Walker Funeral Home with burial in Anderson Memorial Gardens. The body will be on view Tuesday from 12 noon to 8pm. No wake is planned.
The family is at the home of her sister, Notasha Smith, 376 Graham Road and Janie Geer, 511-1, E. Calhoun Street.
