Roy Hunter Obituary
ANDERSON, SC - Mr. Roy Hunter, Sr., an Elder of Jehovah's Witnesses, age 64, of 21 Booker St., Anderson, S.C. died on Saturday, February 21, 2009.
He was born on March 15, 1944 to the late Postell Hunter and Liner Mae Conor Hunter. He retired from J.P. Stevens with 34 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Hunter of the home; children, Oscar Lee Hunter (Tammy) of Detriot, Mi., Barbara Gant (Mike) of Anderson, S.C., Danny Dubose (Jacqueline) of Pasadena, Md., Kenneth Hunter (Christine) of Anderson,S.C. Roy Hunter, Jr. (Tammy) of Anderson, S.C., Zebulun Taze Hunter of Anderson, S.C.; 21 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Surbitha E. Hunter Webb of Thomaston, Ga. and Kathleen Hunter of FarRockaway, N.Y.Daughter -in-Law, Kim Hunter.
He receded in death by one son; Lewis C. Hunter;one sister and six brothers.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 617 Airline Rd., Anderson, S.C. THE UNITY MORTUARY OF ANDERSON is in charge of arrangements. The family is at 21 Booker St., Anderson, S.C.
