William "Pat" Ridgeway, 52, husband of Heather Ridgeway of 1019 Abercrombie Rd., died Friday, March 13, 2015 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Fairbanks, Alaska, he was the son of June Ridgeway and the late Bill Ridgeway. He was a welder/fabricator, fertilizer specialist and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are: son, Travis Ridgeway and wife Jami of Belton, Beck and Connor Ridgeway, both of the home; daughter, Shay Ridgeway of Honea Path; stepson, Cullen Taylor of Honea Path; grandchildren, Ty, Gia, Kinleigh, Kambri and Keelyn Ridgeway; brother, Paul Ridgeway and fiancé Kim Wells of Honea Path; sister, Beverly Jones and husband Steve of Anderson; special nephews, Dillon McCullough of Asheville, Cohen and Clay Bratcher of Honea Path; special nieces, Kelli Gunnells and fiancé Michael Chapman, Kyra Meeks, Jayci Chapman, Brystal Chapman, Brandi Bratcher and husband Randy, Tara Jones, Ryleigh Green and Jayleigh Smith all of Honea Path; father and mother in law, David and Dranda McCullough of Honea Path; brother in law, David McCullough of Piedmont; many special friends and his special dog, Gaia.
He was preceded in death by his sister in law, Leigh Fields.
The family will receive friends at the home of his mother at 310 Friendship Church Rd. in Honea Path Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Memorial service to be announced at a later date.
