Carol Dywan Obituary

Carol Dywan Carol Sutton Dywan, 84, of 507 Rabbit Run Road, Ninety Six, wife of Andrew Frank Dywan, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019 at Wesley Commons.

Born in Malone, NY, she was the daughter of the late Allen Earl Sutton and Elizabeth Carvel Sutton. She was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother who loved playing bridge and creating beautiful oil paintings. Carol loved all animals and was the former president of the Greenwood Humane Society where she was a member for many years. She enjoyed horseback riding, traveling by train and collecting antiques. Carol was a member of Siloam Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 64 years of the home are her children, Julie Marie Weese (Jeff) of West Columbia; Duke Andrew Dywan (Robbie) and Andrew Allen Dywan (Dianne), both of Ninety Six; and five grandchildren, Jacob Nabors, Nate Nabors, Aaron Nabors, Joseph Dywan and Elizabeth Jada Dywan; and several great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Friday at Bethlehem Cemetery with the Rev. Phillip Howle officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Greenwood Humane Society, PO Box 49776, Greenwood, SC 29649.
