Thomas L. Perkins

Thomas L Perkins Mr. Thomas Lee Perkins age 82 of 5832 Hwy 25, North, Hodges, SC, husband of Donnie Robinson Perkins entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 14th at his home. Born in Abbeville, SC, he was the son of the late Junior and Nola Miller Perkins. He joined Mt. Calvary Baptist Church at an early age and later joined Good Hope Baptist Church.

He was formerly employed with Riegel Mills in Ware Shoals, SC and retired from Michelin Tires in Greenville, SC after 19 years of service. He later was a part-time employee with Greenwood County Landfill.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, James, Alonzo, Mack Samuel and Raymond and sister Ethel Quarles.

He is survived by in addition to his wife of the home, two children, a son Brian Perkins, of Chattanooga, TN and a daughter April Perkins of Tampa, FL. ;two grandchildren, two great grandchildren ; a sister , Dorothy Benjamin of Maryland,; four sister-in-laws, Tommie Cena Robinson of the home, Mamie Robinson of Hodges, Callie Perkins of Baltimore, MD and Eliza Perkins of Hodges and one brother-in-law, Bobie Coleman of Hodges; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Services for Mr. Perkins will be held Noon Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Good Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Sammie L Stroud, IV Presiding and Rev. Dr Amos O. Harling officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Mays , Greg Shaw, Reggie Tolbert, Carlos Sullivan, Jonathan Tolbert, Melvin Jackson, Jr. and Jeff Marshall

Flower bearers will be Ruby Keller, Willie Mae Belton, Betty Keller, Renee Keller, Gail Keller and Cindy Anderson

Mr. Perkins will be placed in the church at 11:00am
