Amanda Dawn "Mandy" Laymon

Camden, formerly Martinsville passed from this life Feb. 20, 2012. She attended Perry Meridian High School and was a graduate of Indiana Business College where she received her Associate's Degree in business.

She worked in billing for Core BTS, Indianapolis and was a Mary Kay Consultant.

She is survived by her husband, Rick B. Laymon; son, Caleb Brian Laymon; step-son, Derrick Laymon; step-daughter, Jacinda Laymon and her in-laws, Roger and Rita Laymon, all of Martinsville. Also surviving are her father and step-mother, Joseph Denton Casteel, Sr. and Jeanette Sue Casteel, Camden, IN; mother and step-father, Julie (Dean) Casteel and Jimmy Ottinger, Indianapolis; step-sisters, Samantha Craig and Megan Green, Illinois; half sisters and half brother, Della Casteel, Greenwood, Jessica Casteel, Illinois and Catherine and Joseph Casteel, Jr., both of Camden; grandparents, June Casteel and Truman Casteel, Indianapolis; great-grandparents, Larry and Della Bayly; step-grandmother, Peggy Casteel; aunts and uncles, David and Chris Casteel, Shel and Wayne Shirley, Leanne and Keith Reed, Mike and Cheryl Casteel and Michael and Linda Dean, all of Indianapolis, Jeff and Barbara Casteel, Monrovia and Bryan and Charity Buchanan, Greenwood and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Thomas and Charlotte Dean and her uncle, Mark Dean.

Friends can visit on Sunday, Feb. 26th from 2 to 6 p.m. and Mon., Feb. 27th one hour prior to service at Neal & Summers Funeral & Cremation Center , Martinsville. A celebration of life service will begin Monday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
