Carol Kramer Obituary

Carol Ann Kramer

Carol Ann Kramer, beloved sister, aunt, spouse and friend departed this life on April 11, 2017.

She was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 6, 1944 to Arthur and Mary Losleben. Carol lived in California and Indiana working as an X-ray and CT tech, finally retiring to Apache Junction, Arizona.

Carol was no couch potato! Besides family, friends and pets, her varied interests were motorcycling, traveling, RVing, skiing, movies, photography, jewelry making, wood art, and kayaking. She loved driving, wave-running, pickle-ball, softball, reading, wind-surfing, water skiing, horseback riding, and line dancing. She was an enthusiastic fan of the Colts. She is preceded in death by her spouse, Nancy Shoop, as well as her parents and brother, Paul Losleben.

She is survived by her sister, Lorraine Butler of Pennsylvania, and brother, Joseph Losleben of California, four nieces and one nephew. As an organ donor, the corneas of her eyes were used to give the gift of sight to two blind people. Also, a Celebration of Life for Carol will be at 4 pm on May 7th at the Sahara Grotto at 7620 Madison Ave, Indianapolis, IN.

Carol was a true lover of animals. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary at: https://secure.bestfriends.org/page/contribute. SOooooo proud that you were/still are my sister.
The world seems so empty now without you in it.
You left at the time that was right for you, because I couldn't picture you as an old lady in a rest home--you were too young at heart, & so full of life!
You taught us so much & gave with all your heart.
Can never thank you enough for everything you did for our family. Carol, you are so dearly missed & loved more than any words can be expressed.
Can't wait till we can hug again!

She really was the best Aunt. I cannot begin to describe the loss we feel. We know she is around us, though. She certainly left an impact on everyone she came in contact with!
