Denise West Obituary

Denise Rena West

50, of Indianapolis, IN, was born February 12, 1965 and passed away on June 29, 2015. She was born in Martinsville, IN and grew up in Indianapolis, graduating from Arsenal Technical High School. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Business from Indiana Wesleyan. Denise worked as Billing Manager for IU Health Home Healthcare. She was a member of Indian Creek Church. She was an avid reader, had a special place in her heart for her dogs and loved vacationing at St. Augustine Beach. She is preceded in death by her father, William Ulsh. Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 29 years, Ben West, daughters, Jessica West and Billie (Mike) Swanson, her mother, Marilyn (James) Eiler, her brothers Bill, Alan and Neil Ulsh.

Friends and family may visit from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan - Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. A Celebration of Denise's life will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Washington Park East. Contributions may be made in her name to The American Cancer Society. I worked with Denise when she was the manager for the transfer center at IU she was very sweet person and awesome to work with. My deepest sympathies go out to her family.

My thoughts and prayers are with Ben and her family. Denise was a awesome person. She was my Manager for several years at IU Health Homecare. She was a awesome manager. She was a caring and loving person. She taught so many. Her work ethic was impeccable. You truly be missed. May the Lord give comfort to all the family and many friends that her life has touched.
