Mark Robertson Obituary

Greenwood - Mark Robertson, 66, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on February 1, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, kindness and a deep love for family, friends, cars and music.

Mark was born July 24, 1958, in Tampa, Florida. Over the years, his career was as varied as his interests. He worked in accounting and spent countless hours behind a microphone as a disc jockey, lending his wit, warmth and encyclopedic knowledge of country and classic rock to radio stations across Indiana. A lifelong car enthusiast-especially fond of Corvettes-Mark could identify the year, make and model of nearly any vehicle on sight, and he took pride in the many cars he owned through the years.

More than any title or accomplishment, Mark cherished his role within his family. He was the best son, big brother and uncle they could have asked for, and his family treasured him in return.

He is survived by his mother, Leah Raye Robertson. His father Glen Robertson, Jr. passed away shortly after Mark. He is also survived by his sisters Karen Keller (Tom) and Lisa Robertson; his niece Danielle Courtney (Ryan) and nephew TJ Keller (Lindsey); grand-nieces Aeva Carvouniaris, Ireland Courtney and Scarlett Courtney; and great-nephews Colin Keller and Hamilton Niesen. Mark is preceded in death by his niece McKenna Harlin. He is also survived by a large, extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins as well as a network of close friends.

Those who knew Mark will remember him as someone who never hesitated to help, whose humor could brighten the darkest day and whose encyclopedic knowledge of cars and music made him the go-to source for any question.

Mark never met a stranger-he was whip smart, hilarious and stubborn-with a sly smile that let you know he was up to something. He loved and rescued countless animals in his life, and he pulled elaborate pranks that his family will always remember fondly. His absence leaves an empty space that will never be filled. He will be loved and missed forever.
