Paul Miller Obituary

Paul N. Miller Mr. Miller was born in Freedom Township, Earlville, Illinois on August 26, 1928. He was an independent insurance broker for over 20 years, as a partner of Westfield Ventures. Prior to that, he spent over 23 years with Western Electric Company, retiring as Department Chief of Development Engineering. He had been a Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 56 and was a founding officer and board member of the Historic Landmarks Foundation, as well as a past Board Chairman of the Jordan YMCA. He was an Ordained Elder of the Presbyterian Church and a member of Second Presbyterian Church for over 25 years. He was a member of the Scottish Rite, Indianapolis Valley and Meridian Lodge 183, AF&AM, Earlville, Illinois. He was a graduate of Monmouth College, Illinois. He was also a Founding Member of The American Air Museum in Britain, located at Duxford, England. He had been married for over 50 years to Rica Tubbs Miller, who preceded him on December 19, 2000. Survivors include daughter, Kristine (Mrs. Richard N. King) of Vancleave, Mississippi, and a son, Richard J. Miller of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Christopher and Richard King, and Katherine and Laura Miller. Also surviving is twin brother, Gordon, of Geneseo, New York; a sister, Arlene Shaver of Indianapolis and brother, Ronald of Illinois. Friends may call from Noon - 2 p.m. with services at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2006 in the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel, 740 E 86th Street, Indianapolis.
