Robert S. Swaim, Jr.

84, Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Robert was born March 3, 1931 in Evanston, IL to the late Robert S., Sr. and Virginia Swaim.  He was a graduate of DePauw University and served in the US Coast Guard. Robert was a pension actuary, retiring from The Nyhart Company in 1995.

Robert is survived by his wife, Bonnie H.; children, David Bradford Swaim of Phoenix, AZ and Shelly Ann (husband, G. Timothy) Andrews of Kailua, HI; grandchildren, Malia and Janie Andrews, Kira and Jade Ciolino.

Memorial contributions to; Classical Music Indy or Humane Society of Indianapolis.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan - Broad Ripple.

Dearest Bonnie and family,
Bonnie I have not known you a year but in that time I know there was never as a devoted wife as you. Your loyalty and love was forever showing. Not only the care you have to Steven but to everyone in the nursing home that you came in contact with. We will all miss your ever smiling face. I pray that you will have the strength that you have shown others so freely for yourself. Stay strong and remember alles guttes Mit hertz felt immer.
