Timothy Roche Obituary

Timothy James Roche 21, Carmel, passed away May 15, 2005. Tim was born on November 19, 1983 in Hacketts Town, New Jersey to his parents, Kevin M. and Micki Roche. Tim graduated from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Grade School and from Bishop Chatard High School in 2002. While a student at Chatard, Tim excelled in football and wrestling and was a member of the AAA State Championship Football Team. He was also the Marion County Sectional Wrestling Champ. He graduated from Holy Cross College in Notre Dame and was most recently a student at Loyola University of Chicago. Tim is survived by a loving family that includes his parents; sisters, Christine Margaret and Erin Leigh Roche; maternal grandparents, Josephine and Leonard VanDeWal; best friend, "Jono" Abernathy; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends and family will gather on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Leppert Life Story Funeral Home, Smith Carmel Chapel, 900 N. Rangeline Road, Carmel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
