Guess that I am a little late ... but I only discovered this sad loss today.
Ann-Michele worked for me in a legal case we had in PA. It was my great pleasure to have met her, share a beer, and discuss at great depth the hours spent buying gifts for daughters when travelling.
It is a very sad loss and my deepest sympathy goes to her family.

I'm a neighbor. While I didn't know Ann-Michele as a friend, I knew her as a good neighbor and devoted parent. She came to the door with her daughters selling Girl Scout cookies. They trick-or-treated at our house. I knew she was an attorney and I always marveled that she took the time to do such things. I didn't know she was sick - she was always so upbeat with such energy. She will be missed by all that have encountered her. My heart goes out to her family and my prayers are with them.

To the Higgins and Gleason Families,
I knew Ann-Michele during our grade school years at St. Katharine and continued to see her in Ocean City and at the Farmers Market in Wayne from time to time. She was so intelligent, articulate, gracious, and giving. We are so sorry for your loss. Your families are in our prayers.

I adored and admired Ann-Michele from the time I was introduced to her through the MLA! As a new attorney, I was captivated nd disarmed by her immense energy, polish, intelligence, warmth, and passionate interest in people and issues. I was thrilled she spent time with me and mentored me. We shared fun and laughter together through the MLA. She is still a role model for many. You all fortunate to have been nurtured so deeply by her. You are in my prayers, and I hope for easier times soon, Fondly, Katharine

Dear Gleason and Higgins Families
I was a classmate of Ann-Michele's at MMA, and am greatly saddened to learn of her death. I remember Ann-Michele as a kind and gracious person with a keen intellect and a wonderful sense of humor. I am impressed and inspired by how Ann-Michele lived her life in the face of adversity and by how much she accomplished in so many different areas in such a short period of time.
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Ann-Michelle and I started grade school together at St. Katherine's. Even at the early age of 5 I remember thinking that this is a girl with poise, dignity, class, grace, and a brilliant mind. She was always kind, courteous and wonderful to be around, even if I was jealous at the end of the year because she always walked away with the highest general average award..and many others as well! 39 years later I spotted her at Mass while visiting Wayne and I knew her right away. All of these qualities had just blossomed into a woman and I felt proud of all her accomplishements and to have been a part of her early years. My heart goes out to you her family. Thank you for blessing me with such a wonderful gift of your daughter, sister, wife and mother. I will celebrate her memory for many, many years.

Dear Higgins and Gleason families-
I am so very sorry to hear of your loss and of Ann-Michele's passing. I was lucky enough to know Ann-Michele when we worked together at Rawle. I remember her as an incredibly strong and talented woman who spoke easily (and with a great sense of humor) of work or politics, but always most lovingly and devotedly about her family.

Kevin, Claire, Elise and Helen:
We are so saddened by your loss. There are so many things we will remember of Ann-Michele, your annual Memorial Day parties, her dedication to Radnor, her love of the law, but most of all we will remember the love she had for you all that gave her such strength. Kathy and I are truly blessed to have had Ann-Michele as a friend. We will miss her.

I was priveleged to grow up with the Gleason kids in Wayne in the 1960's. Bill and Helen's brood were not only smart chart-toppers academically, they were beautiful and radiant people of the type who made those graced by their presence better.
Although I knew Kathy better, I called on Ann Michelle on professional matters in 2001 and in 2006. She was an exemplary attorney. When ships sailed to port in ole Philly-Town vexed with a legal quandry, Attorney Higgins was called upon.Ann Marie's command of the law was so quick and encyclopedic, that a phone call to her was like continuing legal education. Generous she was not only with that but with her charm, wit and warmth. Ann-Michele will be missed, her loss will leave a profound and painful void in her profession and in the world graced by her 45 years.

Kevin and girls:
Words just don’t do justice for the sadness that we feel in Ann-Michele’s passing. Ann-Michele was a truly special person. She will always be remembered for her kindness, compassion and incredibly positive outlook on life. As a fellow Hoya, she worked tirelessly for the Georgetown Club of Philadelphia, giving many, many hours of service to her alma mater. Her Georgetown family will truly miss her.
Kevin, we send you our love will keep you and your family in our prayers.

Kevin, Elise, Claire and Mrs. Gleason~
Ann-Michele was such a strong and driven woman~ I admired her courage and positive attitude. She was super devoted to her daughters and I was in awe that she was brave enough to be the "cookie mom" for Elise and Kiersten's Brownie Troop! I loved the photo in your back doorway of Ann-Michele as the Georgetown Bull Dog along side her wonderful dad, Mr.Gleason. She is in heaven now and at peace. Please let me or Bob know what we can do to help with the girls in any way, shape or form.
Love and prayers,
MarySheila McDonald

Kevin & family: I have many wonderful memories of Ann-Michele going back nearly 20 years from all the MLA "gals'luncheons" we attended together, as well as from her work on the Stevedoring Committee. I am glad I was able to spend a little time with her at the last MLA Resort meeting in Scottsdale, and I was honored to be in the audience to see her accept the "Woman of the Year" award from the maritime community in Philadelphia earlier this year. She was an outstanding lawyer, a good friend and a wonderful person, and I will miss her very much. You and your family are in my prayers.
