BROMKE, Ph.D
BRUNO J., on July 25, 2003 of Barrington, NJ age 58 years, beloved husband of Dolores "Dee" F. (nee Burnham), devoted father of Janice K. Guidry of Canadaigua, NY, Cheryl A. Brown of Willingboro, NJ, Michael J. Moffa Jr. of Franklinville, NJ, and William Moffa of Monticello, IN, dear brother of Dorothy F. Bruzek of Washington Twp., NJ, Eugene Bromke of Runnemede, NJ and Frances B. Werner of Runnemede, NJ. Dr. Bromke was born and raised in South Camden where he graduated from St. Joseph's High School in 1963. He then graduated with honors from LaSalle Univesity earning a BA in Biology. In 1974, Dr. Bromke earned his MS in Microbiology and later in 1977 his Ph.D. from Hahnemann Medical College. Dr. Bromke was a Professor of Microbiology at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine as well as an accomplished Lecturer. In addition to his teaching at PCOM, Dr. Bromke was a well respected Microbiologist publishing many scholarly articles. Dr. Bromke was a member of the American Society for Microbiology, Sigma Xi Fraternity, and a member of the Knights of Columbus St. Jude Council. Relatives, friends and colleagues are invited to a visitation on Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 P.M. and again on Thursday monring from 8:15 to 9:15 A.M. at the METTS-POPIOLEK FUNERAL HOME, 400 Clements Bridge Road, Barrington, NJ 08007 856-546-9040. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday 10 A.M. at St. Joseph's RC Church, 10th and Mechanics Sts., Camden, NJ. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing, NJ. If desired, the family requests that memorial donations be made to either St. Joseph's Church, 1010 Liberty St., Camden, NJ 08104 or to the Heart of Camden, 1742 Ferry Ave., Camden, NJ 08104
