David Keller Obituary
DAVID W., Oct. 28, 2005, of Wayne PA, formerly of Toledo OH, from complications of cancer. Worked as an Aerospace Engineer for General Electric for over 33 years. Was a member of "Rails to Trail" Bicycle Club, the National Parkinson Foundation and several Aerospace groups. Survived by his loving wife Margaret A. (nee Schnapp), 4 daughters Kristin, Patricia, Eileen and Jean, 2 sons James and Paul; one sister Judith, 2 brothers Kenneth and Thomas; 10 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Isaac Jogues R.C. Church, 50 W. Walker Rd, Wayne PA, on Friday at 10 A.M. Friends may call 7 - 8:30 P.M. Thurs eve at CAMPBELL-ENNIS-KLOTZBACH FUNERAL HOME, 610 Main St Phoenixville Pa. Memorials may be made to National Parkinson Foundation Inc., 1501 N.W. 9th Ave. / Bob Hope Rd., Miami FL 33136-1494.

It is difficult to realize that it has been over 40 years since I first met Dave. He was a QA manager on OAO, a very complex spacecraft, which in the early 60s had its share of problems: technical, schedule, customer relations and above all personality challenges.
Through it all Dave remained energetic, intense and driven but always within the bounds of courtesy and fairness. Being in engineering, and working closely with Dave's group, I had more than my share of disagreements with Dave. These encounters never got to the personal level. He was always enthusiastic and cheerful.

I was with Dave and Bruce Bachofer about fourteen years ago in Bruce's office shortly after we all (the same age) decided to retire. We toasted a great time past in the space business and the business that would never be the same in the future.

Dave was a always a true gentleman with a gentle manner treating all his coworkers with a genuine concern . Working in a tough business environment he was a shining light.
