DENNIS FLAHERTY Obituary
DENNIS "DOC", on March 24, 2011. Beloved son of Maryann (nee Minich) and the late John, devoted father of Samantha and grandfather of Bryson Dennis, husband of Ruth (nee Meehan-Grauber), dear brother of John (Terri), Michael, Michele Wallace, and Wayne. Sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Wednesday 9-11 A.M. at the HUBERT M. McBRIDE FUNERAL HOME, 2357 E. Cumberland St. Phila PA 19125.

Christmas is in 15 days, I cant believe it! I cant believe this is the 1st christmas in 21 years that you will not be here for =( .. I miss you sooo much daddy .. and the closer it comes to christmas the more depressed I get! I love you more then life its self! I miss you daddy!

Again I am so sorry for your loss! Cedar and Hagert is already missing something and that is Doc! He was truly a great man. I hope he has found peace.
Doc, I hope you have found peace. You could always cheer me up when I needed it! I will miss seeing you at Cedar and Hagert! You were like a fixture there. Summer time is quickly approaching and it is going to be really weird this first summer not seeing you there!!

My deepest sympathies to the family. The corner of Cedar and Hagert will never be the same. The one thing you could always depend on was seeing Doc and hearing one of his stories. He always made you smile. He will be missed. Rest in Peace.

You were more then a neighbor to me. More like an UNCLE. I can remember as far back as five years old that you were in my life. Cedar and Hagert is going to miss you especially this summer. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Doc was a great man, who loved everyone no matter what. He will surely be missed every time I drive by Cedar and Hagert Streets.
May he rest in peace! Please find comfort in knowing that Doc was loved by many.
Cherish your memories of him, you will always have a reason to smile. I know whenever I saw him, he had me cracking up!!! Think of all the times he made you laugh and I am sure you will continue to laugh.

I just want you to know that Daddy loved you more then life itself...everyday that went by and the smile on his face was because of you!!!! You were his world hun, and he made sure everyone knew it....He is soooooooooo very proud of the women and mother you have become....Daddy will always be your guardian angel and will watch over you and protect you and the kids for the rest of your lives..I thank him everyday of my life for the most beautifuliest daughter in the world!!! I Love You Baby Girl and I am here for you ALWAYS...Even though Daddy and I separated many years ago, We talked often! One thing he did say to me just last week was "Ruth I Love You, and He made me promise him to watch and protect you because You are "Daddy's Little Girl" he said..He was one crazy man, who always knew how to make me laugh and he will always have that special place in my heart... NO ONE can take the memeories away!!! Stay strong sweetheart and we will get through this together!
