CHRONISTERGEORGE B., of Williamstown, NJ, formerly of Morrell Park, on April 9, 2015. Beloved husband of Frances Chronister (nee Ruiz); devoted father of Frances Egolf, George Jr. and Charles W. Chronister; brother of Janice Sweet, Robert, Steven and the late William Flint; loving grandfather of Candice, Justin, Anthony, Gabrielle, George, Danielle and Brianna; great grandfather of Mikayla. Relatives, friends and members of Lodge #5 F.O.P. are invited to attend his Viewing Thursday 3 to 5 P.M. at THE FLUEHR FUNERAL HOME, 864 Bristol Pike (Rte. 13), Bensalem PA 19020. Funeral Service 5 P.M. Int. private. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the Police Survivors Benefit Fund, 11630 Caroline Road, Phila., PA 19154.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. The members of our CopNET family would like to thank George B. Chronister for his dedication and service to the citizens of Philadelphia. The passing of George will be broadcast to our 3,531 members shortly and we would like to extend our sincere condolences to his family. His absence from our ranks will be deeply missed by the remaining members of Philadelphia's Finest who were fortunate to have served with him during his police career. He will continue in our thoughts and prayers during our remaining days. "Until we meet again, may God Hold you in the palm of his hand. " . . .

Uncle Chrony, I will miss you so very much. You are now the King in heaven just as you were here on earth, I'm still in your gang, and Uncle Bobby's gang sucks. Aunt Fran and my cousins,I love you all so much and I' m truly sorry for you loss, we will all be strong together.

To the Chronister family. Our family is sorry for your loss. It is hard to go through this difficult time, but it's good to know that we keep in our heart all the good moments, love, and care that we share with our loved ones. Romans 8:38, 39 says that nothing . not even death is be able to separate us from God's love.

I will never know why you always pronounced my name in Spanish instead of just saying it in English. :-) You were a good man George. You were the Archie Bunker in our family. We will miss you.
