RICHARDS, USN (RET) CAPTAIN GRAHAME PRESON, JR. January 23, 2023, of Wynnewood, PA, formerly of Devon, PA. Beloved husband of 60 yrs to Anne-Marie Richards (nee Rainville). Devoted father of Anne-Marie Nicola (C. Brian Killian), Grahame P. Richards, III. (Katie), Henry Gerard Richards (Elizabeth Oliveras), John Francis Perry Richards, Elaine R. Garmon (John) and Sharon E. Richards (Laurence Linietsky). Loving grandfather of 14 grandchildren. Also survived by his sister, Sharon R. Begeman. Grahame was born in Paducah, KY on September 23, 1937. He attended Princeton University Class of '59 and went on to University of Missouri Law School. He served for thirty years in the U.S. Navy, practiced law in Philadelphia for many years, and was the Program Director at the Lenfest Foundation for the past twenty years. Relatives and friends are invited on Friday, Jan. 27th, Visitation from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M. with Funeral Mass to begin at 11 A.M. at St. Margaret Church, 208 N. Narberth Ave., Narberth, PA. Interment Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Academy Bryn Mawr, 480 S. Bryn Mawr Ave., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010. Graham and I served aboard the USS Harry E Hubbard in 1960. He was a respected and effective officer. We shared many good times, particularly golfing on Guam and sightseeing in Japan. It was an honor to know him.

How to express the all-consuming shower of sadness...of Bill's death, yes, bug also of the thought of not having been able to share more of our lives together. "Oh, the time will come for us to be together one of these days," we always thought. That was not to be. But we rest knowing that, although we haven't been able to be there for you, you, as a family have been there for each other..so warmly, so lovingly, so compassionately.
