GREGORY, age 40, of Mayfair suddenly on Feb. 17, 2014. Loving husband to Helene Landis (nee Byrne). Devoted father of Samantha, Gregory and Faith. Beloved son of James and Anna Landis (nee Martin). Brother of Suzy, Jimmy and Dana. Also survived by 6 nieces and 1 nephew. Relatives, friends and members of Steamfitters Union Local #420 are invited to attend his Viewing Thursday evening 6 to 9 P.M. at JOHN F. FLUEHR AND SONS INC., 3301-15 Cottman Ave. and his Funeral Friday morning 9:45 to 10:45 A.M. at St. Matthew Church (Upper), 3000 Cottman Ave., Phila., PA 19149 followed by his Funeral Mass 11 A.M. Rite of Committal Resurrection Cem. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Helene Landis. c/o 3041 Win-chester Ave., Phila., PA 19136 for the benefit of their children.

We are just so heartbroken over Greg's passing. He was such a character to say the least! Life of the party with that smirky smile always joking and laughing. Dear Helene and the entire Landis family,
I am beyond devastated to learn of this terrible news. Greg was a dear friend. He and I could go long periods without seeing or talking to one another but the minute I'd hear his voice, a big smile would come across my face and it would seem like it was only yesterday that I last saw him. That was the kind of guy he was- funny, with a huge personality that could light up a room, and an even bigger heart. There are many great memories I have of Greg, going back to Penn State and summers down the shore at our house on Hand Ave. Then some years passed after college/jobs/marriage/kids. So Jeannine and I felt extremely blessed that we were able to re-connect and spend a great summer with Helene, Greg and the kids in North Wildwood several years ago.
