This man changed my life as well as my brothers. I met him in 1978 and for years he guided academic career, the private schools I attended as well as the colleges. I´m heartbroken to hear of his passing. I know of no one who has made a difference in and for people as Jim did, so much so that even when I got kicked out of my own home he allowed me to stay with him.
(true story). He will be sorely missed.

What a loss. I lived down the street from Jim, years ago, and I credit him for helping me as an older student to get into Franklin and Marshall College. I had many fun times with him and remember his love for Nathan's hot dogs. He is an unforgettable person in my life!
