Joseph Borrell Obituary

BORRELL
JOSEPH J., a retired tool and die maker, died December 29, 2003, at his residence in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Born in Phila., PA on Jan. 23, 1921, he was USMC Veteran of WWII. After the war, he married Regina (Jean) Allen and they raised 5 children. He worked for Engineering Tool in Phila., PA until 1971 when he moved to Portsmouth, VA to become co-owner of Portsmouth Metal Stamping Co. until his retirement in 1984. He was preceded in death by a son Craig Albert Borrell. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, 2 sons and daughters-in-law, John and Loretta Borrell of Oreland, PA, Gordon and Loukia Borrell of Portsmouth, VA, 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and John DiGrazio of Medford, NJ, Suzanne and Jim Dwyer of Medford, NJ, 3 brothers and sisters-in-law Edward and Helen Borrell of Doylestown, PA, Al and Pat Borrell of West Berlin, NJ., Raymond and Irma Borrell of Port Charlotte, FL, 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary Treml of Ft. Myers, FL, Joan and Jack Knab of Horsham, PA, 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be
celebrated Sat. Jan. 3, 2004 in St. Brendans Catholic Church, Shallotte, NC. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, Att: Memorial and Honors Program, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105. BRUNSWICK FUNERAL SERVICE AND CREMATORY, Shallotte, NC is in charge of arrangements.
