Dear Rod, Donna, Ted & family,
I'm sorry for your loss and hope and pray that Jo is with the Lord. My mom, Therese Hagerty, was Jo's carpool buddy on trips to the Inquirer for many years. They were close friends up until my mom passed away earlier this year. Jo was always kind and sweet to my mom and our family. I know she'll be greatly missed.
Sincerely, Mary Duffy

Dear Rodd, Donna and Ted,
I am so sorry for your loss. She was one of my first extras mothers at the Inky. From the first day I met her she made you feel like you knew her forever. It helped we had a similar sense of humor. Couldn't meet a kinder, nicer person and boy did she love her family. Thinking of a silly game only her and I played and have a smile from ear to ear. My condolences and may she rest in peace.

Dear, dear Jo - I will miss knowing your not around. Our 1st meeting was when you, Millie Burke, and I were applying for a job at Inki. There were many good times & heartaches we went thru together. You always said I was like a sister to you.I still have the beautiful letter you sent me a couple years ago. It will stay on my desk to remind me of the sweet & thoughtful person I was priveleged to have as a friend. You will remain in my heart forever. RIP.

Dear Donna & Teddy & Rodd,
Your Mom was a great person, always cheerful and very funny. I worked with her at the Inquirer for more than 21 yrs. She actually told me about the job, and I always thanked her for that. She was loved by her family, her co-workers and everyone who ever met her. May she at last rest in peace and be with her beloved, Nikki

Dear Rodd, Donna, Ted & Family. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Jo was such a special person. Over the years I remembered her almost every day because she gave me my first bottle of "Aromatics" and that's the only fragrance I wear. She loved her family and was a good friend, and coworker. I know you have wonderful memories of her so she will never be forgotten.

To Jo's family - My heart and prayers are with you. I worked w/Jo at the Inquirer. She had such a quick wit. I remember when we had this syntax "FS" that needed to be inserted before a word or paragraph. It stood for "fixed space" but that silly Jo, she called it a "Frank Sinatra". Still makes me smile today. She was a sweetie pie. May the Lord comfort you during this time of bereavement.

Jo was my first friend at the Inquirer. She took me under her wings. I still remember Jo inviting me to sit with her at lunch on my first day. I have wonderful memories of our time together. I cherish those times. She was loving, kind and funny. I was so lucky she was in my life...if only for a short time. I know she is in heaven looking down with a smile.
