KEVIN S., suddenly on July 11, 2009. Survived by his best friend and mother of his children, Christine Michaels. Loving dad of Christine (Brian), Kevin (Kim) and Jessica (Greg). Pop-pop of Briley Rae Walsh, Avalynn Dowling, Alyssa Dowling and Miah Bella Parsons. Brother of Joann Kling (Ronald), Marie Davis (James), Michael J., Joseph (Debra) and Kelly Hillman(Michael), son of the late Joaseph and Joann Dowling (nee Yost). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and his beloved dog, Westy. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Wed. Eve, 6 to 7:30 P.M., at McCAFFERTY-SWEENEY FUNERAL HOME, 6126 Torresdale Ave., Phila. PA 19135. Services will begin at 7:30 P.M. Int. Private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family c/o the Funeral Home, at the above address, would be greatly appreciated.

Dear uncle kev, time just keeps flying by and knowing that i dont have my godfather with me anymore makes it harder to get by everyday; every tear and every sadness makes me realize that you werent just my uncle, you were like my bestfriend and you will always be in my hearrt, no one will ever take your place as my favorite uncle<3 i miss you and please watch over me; loveyou so much!

I am truly sorry for the loss of your best friend and your childrens father. Even though I didn't know him personally I know you guys will miss him. Just think , he's not gone - he is watching you and hanging on your shoulder to direct you in the direction you should go.
