Lee Traband

1934 - 2023

Traband Lee (nee Sherman) Of Woodbury NJ, passed away on September 6, 2023. She is survived by her children, Paul Weinstein (Debbie), Bruce Weinstein (Marsha), Lila Jones (Doug), and Ivan Weinstein (Veronique), 7 grandchildren, and her first husband, Howard Weinstein. She was born on August 18, 1934, daughter of Louis and Diana Sherman (nee Husock). She was predeceased by her husband, Lester Traband and her sisters, Rosalyn Lessing and Judy Chiariello. She attended Bryn Mawr College and later earned a Master's in Education from Temple University. Lee was dedicated to family, hosting annual large Seders at her home. She was also a global citizen and committed volunteer for The Hunger Project, Pachamama Alliance and The Center for Nonviolent Communication. There will be a Visitation at 10:00 A.M. with a Funeral Service for family and close friends at 11:00 A.M., Sunday, September 10, 2023 at LAUREL HILL FUNERAL HOME, 225 Belmont Ave., Bala Cynwyd, PA with interment to follow at Laurel Hill West's Nature's Sanctuary.
