MARTIN KRAVITT Obituary
MARTIN N., Nov. 30, 2010, of Cherry Hill, NJ. Husband of Bernice (nee Seltzer) Kravitt. Father of David (Karen Friedman) Kravitt and Marla (Richard) Minier. Step-father of James (Carol) Oetter, Jennifer Cooper and David (Jan) Cooper. Brother of Florence (the late Dr. Harry) Fridrich. Grandfather of Brett Kravitt, Alec Kravitt, Matthew (Kata) Minier, Alex (Laura) Minier, Michael (Ashley) Cooper and Jillian Cooper. Also survived by one great-grandchild. Marty was a graduate of Collingswood H.S. and Temple Dental School class of 1944. He was a founding partner of Collingswood Dental Associates and a member of the Southern N.J. Dental Society. Marty was an active member of the Katz J.C.C. and the Woodcrest Country Club. He chaired the Pro Am Scholarship Tournament and received the Daniel Toll Award. Marty was a member of Cong. Beth El in Voorhees. The Martin N. Kravitt D.D.S. Class of 1944 Award for Excellence in Clinical Ability is given every year at Temple Dental School in his honor. Services and Interment are private. Shiva will be observed Thurs. only after 2:00 P.M. at the home of David Kravitt and Karen Friedman. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Katz JCC, 1301 Springdale Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08003 or Hospice of Moorestown, 300 Harper Dr., Moorestown, NJ 08057. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to meet Uncle Marty and Aunt Bernice last year before Barry's & my wedding. He was a sweet man and we greatly enjoyed our visit.

David, Sorry to learn of your dad's passing. I enjoyed running into him periodically at the JCC. His face always lit up when I'd ask about you and Karen. My mother offered you her best wishes as well. Hope your life is filled with more happy events.

Bernice, David, Marla & Family,
So very sorry to hear of Dr. Marty's passing. He was a dear friend of my mom and also her former boss for many many years. (Sally & George Martell were my parents). As one of my dentist's he gave the best needles..just gave it..didn't try any of that cheek shaking stuff..he was the kindess man. He will be missed. I hope he is up there having a good 'ole time with my mom & dad. I miss them everyday. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this most difficult time. Jeanne (Martell) & Dean von Rhine
