Matt "Red" was an extraordinary person. Every one who meet him, liked him. Matt even bonded with my little dog. Puff would give Matt a huge welcome usually reserved for family members. Matt will be sorely missed by me, the patrons and staff at The Republican club

My condolences to all of Matt's friends and family. He was the most decent human being I knew. He was unfailingly kind. He could talk and be interested in any subject. Meeting up with him was the thing I looked forward to most whenever I returned to Philly.

"I miss you more than all the others / and I salute you brother".
