To Liz and Nick's children: We will greatly miss our wonderful friend Nick Lattari ("Nick at Nite"). Not only was he one of the greatest DJs around, but he had a real love for both his music and the people who faithfully followed him. He also had an unsurpassed knowledge and appreciation of the very best in American music. Nick was a most generous person with his time and talent. He was the heart and soul of the Senator Nick Stampone Scholarship Fund and he, along with his tremendous girl, Liz, and his son, Michael (who shares Nick's love of music and who is also a fine singer) generously volunteered their time and efforts to help deserving young people in paying their school tuition. This is just one of the many charitable causes Nick supported. He will be sorely missed and we will always keep him in our thoughts and prayers. RIP Nick at Nite. Love, Tony & Kathy Rad

Nicky, Michael, Vicki and Louie, I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. It's so hard to believe that he is really gone, but I am comforted by the fact that he is at peace in heaven with your mom and the rest of the family that is there. Uncle Nick was my Godfather and my mother swears I inherited my clothes habit from him. When we were kids, I remember marveling at all his very cool shoes and his clothes. He was so sharp and fun especially when he would hide and yell out the window, "The shadow knows," scaring all the neighborhood kids. I can still see him sitting on the end of the couch on Saxon Place working on his books when he was in the insurance business and watching sports on the weekends. Dring the week, I remember your mom keeping his dinner warm on the stove until late because he was working. Uncle Nick never seemed to get old. He was truly the "eternal teenager" enjoying his life. May he rest in peace. Love, Pam

Nick was, and still is someone close to me that will always be in my life. I remember as a kid I would go and DJ with him, and that's exactly what got me into music. Nick was the nicest person you could have ever met and he would've done anything for anyone. I'm truly gonna miss coming into my house hearing him say right away (here he is ladies and gentlemen!) I miss seeing him walk through the front door late to dinner and afterwards Nick and my grandmom Liz would be sitting on the couch watching movies, or sports. He could put a smile on anyones face from the jokes he told, or just from his presence. I'm forever grateful for everything that he's ever done for me and I will never forget all the time we spent together throughout my entire life. You were an amazing human being, and I'm gonna miss you as i'm sure a lot of people will. Rest easy nick, show them angels a thing or two about music. I love ya.

Dad, what can I say but you fought until the very last moment. As I sat and watched that monitor in your last moments I was in disbelief when you took your last breath but your heart was going strong! You would be proud of your 4 children knowing we left no stone unturned. We fought every Doctor, Nurse and social worker to continue with treatment even as we were told of a poor prognosis. We flew you via helicopter in your last days and so critical to a city hospital for a second opinion with the hope that there would be a neurosurgeon who could "fix" you. As a nurse myself it was clearly amazing to watch a man like yourself have so many procedures and still pull through. Along with mom you will definitely live through your children. Losing a parent or two is never easy but I know you are at peace now and definitely in a wonderful place. Give mom hugs and kisses for me and sleep well!

Dad, what can I say but you fought right up until the last moment. As I sat and watched that monitor as you took your last breath your heart was going strong and fighting until the last beat. You would be proud that your 4 children left no stone unturned in the 8 weeks you were hospitalized. We fought every doctor, nurse and social worker in going all the way with every treatment possible to keep you alive in the hope that you would recover. As a nurse myself Iam amazed at how strong your body was to have always pulled through so many procedures as you had. We even had you sent to one of the "best" city hospitals via helicopter for one last opinion in the hopes that there was a neuro surgeon who could help to make you better. I know you are in a wonderful place now and without a doubt at peace. Give mom hugs and kisses for me and sleep well!

To the Lattari Family,
I, like so many people, have treasured memories of your Dad, and all of his talents. He was an amazing presence on this earth....his huge smile for everyone he met, his jokes that had people belly laughing everywhere he went, his beautiful singing voice that he was too shy to share with the world...his passion for music that he could not wait to share with the world.
From the love songs he compiled on cds, from every era....to give to people he knew would appreciate his gift of romance, dancing, and love of music from every year in the history of music!
Besides his huge smile, he had a huge heart! He loved his family..and spoke of each of them to me often...what a huge presence he was..the room lit up when Nick arrived!
So much charisma,talented beyond measure!
I am sure God has a special plan for Nick in Heaven...surely he will have all of his family and friends who are already there dancing to his music!
He was the Ultimate Music Man.
