I am just learning of Dr. Dahl´s passing as I was looking to return to see him as a patient. I saw him roughly in 2015 at Penn. He treated me with compassion for my diabetes and found a small thyroid nodule that no other doctor even examined my neck ever! I needed a biopsy and convinced I had cancer. I called and left a message for Peter panicked and he called me on his own time from his personal cell phone understanding how scared I was! He was the embodiment of what a human and doctor ought to be. I am so deeply sorry to his wife, children, family and friends. There is a huge hole here without him in it

Just found out last night. SSorry doesn't seem sufficient. Peter was just a kid when we met. He only lived in Buffalo sporadically at that point, spending time w/his father, & going to school. He loved all the animals that frequented the house, especially Alex, & later, your Rottweiler. Peter came back from Texas at one point with a new maroon Toyota pickup from his father. That truck got very good care. Peter was very studious. I came to admire how he was able stick w/ his studies, & not be distracted. That''s not to say he didn't have outside activities for a break. I know he snowboarded, & he had all kinds of toys at the cape. I met his wife, but had no contact after that. I am very sorry for that. A couple years ago, I spent at least 2 weeks working in a coffee plant in Chester, Pa. I see on a map to Peter's office, I was right in the area, who knew.
Sorry again for your loss. Hope everyone else is doing well. I considered you folks family.

My sympathy to the Dahl family and his office staff. My heart was saddened when I opened a letter from Dr. DAHL's office, informing me of the passing of Dr. Dahl. I couldn't believe what I was reading.
I saw him in the office last month. He was a good person, down to earth, willing to help you if needed. My prayers are with you.
