PIETRO "PETER", May 6, 2006, age 25. Beloved son of Pietro J. and Joyce A. (DelGiorno); dear brother of Pasquale "Pat" and Joseph; loving grandson of Pasquale and Anita (DiSantis), Fred (Leda) DelGiorno and Marie (Mondi); survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing and Funeral, Wednesday 8:30 - 10:30 A.M. CARTO FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2212-14 S. Broad St. Funeral Mass 11 A.M. Epiphany Church. Int. pete i miss you soo much. we always had soo much fun when we went out together. you always had me on the craziest missions but we always had a blast doin it. i always remember you use to say, you like my older sister even tho you were older aha you use to always come and see me i cant wait to see you again we'll all be together again. i love & miss you pete <33 you will be in my heart forever ..love, missy goods <33

Pete: I think about you always. I remember the fun we had at my house and how you used to sleep on my couch with your brother Joey. You always surprised me with your humor , especially when I used to come home from work and find you in my bathroom giving haircuts to your friends..how I would laugh! I remember sitting in my kitchen where I used to live and we used to talk and laugh for hours. I always think about your beautiful face and that wonderful smile!

Joyce, Joey and Pat:

My deepest condolences go out to you and yours. We met briefly at my house and even spoke on the phone a few times. Joey will remember the cookies I would always give to him. Hug Joey for me as I have not seen him in such a long time. He'll remember the incident when I had to jump out of my car and help him! All of you will remain in my prayers forvever. There is not a day that goes by that I dont think of you. Even though I hadnt seen you in a while we were still like family. You were a great person and you always knew how to have fun.

Pete, I remember the day we all met you were only 11 years old, we stayed friends all this time, I remember us sharing shoes together , playing jail break. I remember watching you when you had you first kiss. I cant beleieve you are no longer here . I have been with your family (Mom, Pat, and Joey) I talk to her everyday,As you already know she missies you like crazy as well as the rest of us.

That smile , and them eyes thats all I think about. You will always be my bestfriend no matter what. I love you Pete. Please watch over all of us, oh bye the way thanks for them joeks the other day at your house, we knew it was you....

Dear Mr. Hallmark,

I am writing to you from heaven, and though it must appear,

A rather strange idea, I see everything from here.

I just popped in to visit, your stores to find a card

A card of love for my mother, as this day for her is hard.

There must be some mistake I thought, every card you could imagine.

Except I could not find a card from a child who lives in heaven.

She is still a mother too, no matter where I reside

I had to leave, she understands, but oh the tears she's cried.

I thought that if I wrote you, that you would come to know.

That though I live in heaven now, I still love my mother so.

She talks with me, and dreams with me; we still share laughter too,

Memories are our way of speaking now, would you see what you could do?

My mother carries me in her heart, her tears she hides from sight.

She writes poems to honor me, sometimes far into the night,

She plants flowers in my garden, there my living memory dwells

She writes to other grieving parents, trying to ease their pain as well.

So you see Mr. Hallmark, though I no longer live on earth

I must find a way, to remind her of her wondrous worth

She needs to be honored, and remembered too

Just as the children of earth will do.

Thank you Mr. Hallmark, I know you'll do your best

I have done all I can do; to you I'll leave the rest.

Find a way to tell her, how much she means to me

Until I can do it for myself, when she joins me in eternity.

Pete, I have this feeling that you met up with Joey, like he told you that all is ok for you now...he is always with me and I know you can and will be close to your family too. This is a terrible weekend coming, nothing will ever ease this pain. I stayed with your mom, as you and Joey watched us. I held all of them the other day, and I was glad I can be there for them, but I hate that I have to share this pain that we have. You both have the eternal light now, I see and feel it all the time with Joey. I just wanted to tell you, thanks again for supporting me a few months ago for my loss, I stood by for you too. Your a good kid Pete, a good heart, I felt that when you hugged me with few words in my ear...now I hug you in my heart...

I work with Margie and am a friend. I am very sorry to have heard of the loss of your son, Pietro. Even though I did not know him, my heart breaks for you.
